Lip Combo of the day.

This is Mac Lovelorn Lipstick and Cultured Lipglass.  What do you think?

Free The Body Shop Lip and Cheek Stains

Look what you get free with this months In Style magazine!

Rose Pink on the left, Bronze Glimmer on the right

These normally retail at £9.50 each but as the magazine is only £3.60 you are saving yourself £5.90 per stain.  I have never tried these before and think that this is a perfect way of sample-ing without paying full price.  They both come with a sponge applicator which makes it easy for you to control the amount of product you wish to use as they are quite watery.  They can be used on lips and cheeks, I also think the Bronze Glimmer will look good on shoulders and decollete as a highlight BUT BEWARE it does have a very pinky base, so if you are sunburned - steer clear!  Stain is definately the right description as I still have 2 stains on the back of my hand from the swatches dispite having washed them - Twice!

Would I pay full price for these?  I don't think so, there are far to many better products out there that I would rather use to achieve a lip stain or highlight.

OPI Elephantastic Pink

A quick nail of the day - Elephantastic Pink.  A pretty cerise pink, although looks coral-y in the picture.  This was achieved using Seche Vite Base Coat, 2 coats of nail polish and Seche Vite Top Coat - which is the best top coat I have ever used!

What do you use to achieve your nail colour? What are your favourite nail polish colours/products?

Jennifer Aniston, The Fragrance

So, as you can see from the right of this post - I LOVE BLOGS!  I have finally plucked up the courage to start my own.

On Wednesday after work I headed straight to Harrods to pick up the most anticipated fragrance of the summer from Jennifer Aniston. At the time I thought it was called Lolavie but turns out there was a last minute change of name because "there was something out there that was very similar".  I am assuming they mean Lovely by SJP?

Anyway,  went up to the 4th floor where the fragrance was being launched. My initial thought when the sales assistant sprayed it was that it was nothing special, however now that I have had a few whiffs, I love it! It is definately going to be my HG fragrance. The fragrance is a mixture of Citrus, Rose Water, Wild Violets, Amber and Jasmine. It smells clean and fresh to begin with but after a little while it smells musky and you can definately smell an undertone of Citrus.  Aniston wanted the fragrance to "evoke a natural scent from her love of warm temperatures growing up in California and family trips to Greece" - and this it does!

Have you purchased this fragrance or any other recently?  What is your scent of the summer?
